I recently attended the Tokyo Coffee Festival 2025 with three main objectives: to taste REDPOISON’s limited edition coffee, to share updates about my activities in Canada, and to provide personal updates about myself.
As roasters, we don’t simply serve our beans to anyone in Canada. We carefully choose customers who resonate with our philosophy and branding, ensuring our beans are appreciated by those who truly understand our approach.
Right from the event’s opening, REDPOISON’s booth drew an incredibly long queue. I found myself helping to organize the line to assist with store guidance. After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally reached the coffee counter.
I exchanged 4 limited event coins for their Colombia El Placer Geisha White Honey 90+ carbonic maceration and cold fermentation. Each coin was worth approximately 600 yen. The coffee delivered an exquisite floral aroma and a lingering sweetness that remained on the palate long after finishing the cup—truly enhancing my festival experience.
The day concluded perfectly with a photo alongside barista Shin, capturing a memorable moment from this exceptional coffee journey.
