A specialty coffee roastery based in Sagamino, Kanagawa, Japan. Founded in 2018 by certified Q Arabica Grader Tomomichi Morifuji.Known for exceptionally clean, fruit-forward coffees with refined sweetness and clarity. The name “RED POISON” symbolizes the irresistibly captivating red hue of an ideal brew achieved through precise roasting and careful selection.A key feature is SOLID, Morifuji’s proprietary roasting machine developed over three and a half years. With high thermal power and rapid cooling capabilities, SOLID enables meticulous control throughout the roasting process, maximizing each coffee’s potential.
The minimalist, black-toned space reflects a commitment to detail, design, and craftsmanship. From equipment to roast profiles, every element is curated to deliver a compelling coffee experience for both professionals and everyday enthusiasts.



Mel Coffee Roasters
Mel Coffee Roasters specializes in extracting exceptional flavors from specialty coffee beans, which contain higher moisture content requiring optimal roasting equipment.They operate refurbished and customized vintage roasters: a Probat L5 from 1968 and a UG15 from 1960. Their philosophy centers on the belief that 70% of what makes specialty coffee delicious comes from roasting technique.
Just as seasons change with temperature and humidity, green coffee beans and roasting machines also change in condition. Their equipment and expertise enable them to continually develop the perfect roast profile for these evolving conditions.
They constantly refine their roasting techniques until the coffee reaches your hands, aiming to deliver truly memorable, exceptional specialty coffee.



Coffee Sakura
A specialty coffee roaster in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, committed to ethical sourcing and sustainable practices.
They work with conscientious producers, roast fresh to order, and grind immediately before shipping to preserve peak flavor.
Philosophy: “Moments of comfort through coffee” — creating meaningful connections and tranquility in daily life through the ritual of brewing and sharing quality coffee.
They don’t just sell beans; they facilitate moments that bring people together and enrich the human spirit.



AND COFFEE ROASTERS
Founded in 2013, they pioneered specialty coffee culture in Kumamoto and have gained recognition across Japan. Operating their flagship AND COFFEE ROASTERS plus three AND COFFEE BREWERS locations in Kumamoto City and a coffee stand in Tokyo’s Hibiya district.
Master roaster Ryuho Tani continually evolves his craft, now focusing on balancing both flavor and texture. Their lineup features primarily light-roasted single origins for daily enjoyment, alongside special process coffees (Geisha, anaerobic fermentation) as limited releases.
Understanding their Kaminoura neighborhood’s preference for deeper roasts, they craft approachable, balanced coffees. Surrounded by boutique shops, their café serves as a community gathering place.
Philosophy: Creating a relaxed, unpretentious space that strengthens neighborhood bonds—transforming their café into more than a coffee destination, but an essential community hub where exceptional coffee meets local warmth.
